I have known Jared for most of his life. He has always been an outstanding individual. I first met him when we moved into his neighborhood and he became friends with my children. I watched him mature and have always been impressed with his integrity, his work ethic and his positive attitude.
Eventually, he came to work for my company, Sizzling Platter, Inc. which owns and operates several restaurant concepts including a Sizzler franchise, a Red Robin franchise, Ruby River Steakhouse, and Hoppers. We operated 35 units in 4 states. I was President and CEO of that company for more than 25 years and in 2006 sold my interests and retired. I now sit on the Board of Directors of the new company which has added a major Little Caesars franchise to its portfolio. My recommendation of Jared comes advised by my experience.
Jared has always been an exemplary person and employee. He gravitated to Ruby River, our premium steakhouse and was popular with our guests. He was also popular with his managers and the employees who worked for and with him. He is bright, capable and always willing to take on any new challenge. I am sorry to see him leave the company but I understand his reasons. He is going to college and doing very well. He definitely has management qualifications.
